Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
