You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
