Glazier wanted in Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazier in Grant County, Wisconsin. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Your main tasks: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
