Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Houston County, Tennessee. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Six days a week, one day off.
