Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Bath and North East Somerset, England. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
