Earthmoving equipment operator • District of Rutland, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in District of Rutland, England. The job is on a road construction project. Day to day you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; refuel the machine and record running hours; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. You should have: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 4+ years on the tools preferred.
