MIG/MAG welder • Lafayette County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Lafayette County, Missouri. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
