Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
