We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a textile finishing unit. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
