Sand plant operator wanted in Logan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Logan County, West Virginia. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
