Immediate opening: trowel-trade bricklayer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Kleberg County, Texas. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
