Machine operator (earthworks) — Borough of Thurrock

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Borough of Thurrock, England. You will work on a housing development site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat £2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
