Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Austin County, Texas. The job is on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
