Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. The job is on re-roofing and repair jobs. Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel On a typical shift you will torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; insulate and ventilate the roof void; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
