Foundry labourer • Prince Edward County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
