Domestic gas engineer • Cortland County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Cortland County, New York. You will work at a busy gas installation company. The role involves: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
