Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Horry County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Day to day you will load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
