Now hiring: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Miami County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses Requirements: • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Careful handling of tools and components Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
