Milling machine operator wanted in Scott County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based in a toolroom. The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 6+ years on the tools preferred.
