Argon arc welder wanted in Dixon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Dixon County, Nebraska. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Performance bonus on top of base pay.
