Great opportunity: CO2 welder (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Allendale County, South Carolina. You will work at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
