Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Seminole County, Georgia. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
