Health and safety supervisor wanted in Stephenson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Stephenson County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
