You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Day-to-day duties: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place Six days a week, one day off. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
