GTAW welder wanted in Sussex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Sussex County, New Jersey. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
