Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Osborne County, Kansas. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
