We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Schoharie County, New York. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
