Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Monroe County, West Virginia. The job is at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Full-time with occasional weekends.
