Reinforcement fitter wanted in Pulaski County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Pulaski County, Kentucky. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Part-time with flexible hours.
