Sheet metal welder — Bassa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Bassa, Plateau State. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
