Steel erection rigger wanted in Suffolk County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
