Great opportunity: excavator operator (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Sacramento County, California. The job is at a landfill site. On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services 6+ years on the tools preferred.
