Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy distribution depot. The role involves: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
