Lift mechanic — Makurdi Local Government Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Makurdi Local Government Area, Benue State. On a typical shift you will run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work ₦100,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
