Fire and safety officer wanted in Shelby County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Shelby County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
