Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based in lofts and crawl spaces. On the job you will handle: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape You should have: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Able to read construction drawings and specifications 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
