GMAW welder — Isiala-Ngwa North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia State. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
