We are recruiting: bench joiner (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bench joiner in Perry County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools Rotating shifts.
