Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Frio County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
