Lift technician • Lamar County, Mississippi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
