Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Wayne County, New York. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 4+ years on the tools preferred.
