Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Rockdale County, Georgia. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
