Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Holmes County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 3+ years on the tools preferred.
