Dumper truck operator • Jos North, Plateau State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Jos North, Plateau State. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift 5+ years on the tools preferred.
