Great opportunity: domestic gas engineer (Nevada)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Lander County, Nevada. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
