Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects 2+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
