Vacuum press operator — North East Lincolnshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in North East Lincolnshire, England. You will work at a garment factory. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
