Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Onitsha South, Anambra State. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
