Rebar worker wanted in Onondaga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Onondaga County, New York. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
