Dogger wanted in Wilkes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Wilkes County, North Carolina. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
